Scenekick is a community where you can take a photo with your mobile phone and post it to our server, showing your friends what is going on around you. A picture is worth 1000 words the saying goes, but if you like, you may include a bit of text with your image, and it will be overlayed over the image.

How do you overlay text? Glad you asked! In the body of the message you are sending to go@scenekick.com, you type what you want to say, prefaced with either "top" and / or "bottom" (no quote marks) on their own line. That's it! So the body of your message can look something like this:

Q. Do I have to show my images on the Scenekick public page?
A. No, you can choose to hide your updates from the public and have a private feed if you wish. There's an option to hide yourself in your member control panel.

Q. Do I have to have a Sidekick / Hiptop to use Scenekick?
A. Absolutly not! You can use almost any camera phone device which can send messages to an email address.

Q. Does Scenekick only support T-moble?
A. While most of our users are Sidekick users with T-mobile, we have been working to get all phone providers working. T-Mobile, AT&T, Sprint-Nextel, Verizon, Alltel and direct email have all been found to work.

Q. Do I have to put my image on my MySpace?
A. Nope, it's your MySpace page, do what you want. :-)

Q. Can I update from the computer, without using my phone?
A. Yes, just add your email address as one of your phone addresses. Send the an email to go@scenekick.com with your photo attached.

Q. Is scenekick really free? What's the catch?
A. Yes, we are 100% free, there's no catch. I just want to provide people with an easy, free fun way to share their mobile phone photos with friends. I pay for hosting out of my own pocket with the money I make between tours.
